How does the customer redeem Rewards?

Customers can redeem Rewards using text codes on printed receipts or on the Clover app.

Printed Receipt

Some businesses reward your loyalty by adding an offer via a rewards code on your printed receipt. You can redeem it any time before it expires. You don’t need the Clover app to redeem a rewards code offer. (Having the app, however, helps you collect points.

- Without the Clover App

1. Locate the 3-word code at the bottom of your receipt.
2. Text the code to 73752. After you earn enough points for a reward, you’ll get a QR code a cashier can scan when you check out at the register.
3. Collect your reward and you’re good to go.

- Using the Clover app

1. Open the Clover app.
2. Tap the receipt icon in the top right corner.
3. Enter the 3-word code from the receipt.
4. Tap Submit.
5. Your points will be added to your account. After you earn enough points for a reward, you’ll get a QR code a cashier can scan when you check out at the register.
6. Collect your reward and you're good to go.

Got a notice that you can’t use this code? Check the spelling. Is it possible you already used it? Or, it's possible that you've reached the sign-up code limit for today. (You can avoid this limit by using the Clover app and always checking in to get your points.)

Clover app

When you check in with the Clover app to a favorite business, you can see today’s available offers.

1. Tap to open the Clover app and sign in. You can see this business and other favorite spots nearby. Stay signed in to always see nearby Clover businesses with loyalty programs.
2. In the list, find this business and tap to select it.
3. At the bottom right, tap CHECK IN. You'll see a note at the bottom of the screen that tells you when you're checked in. Some businesses can automatically check you in. Seeing a Welcome screen instead? You're not quite checked in. Enter your name and tap either I'm new here (if you've never used the Clover app at this business) or  I've been here before (if you have).
4. On your mobile screen, take a look at the current offers.
5. When you're at the register and ready to pay, select an offer, tap Redeem now, and introduce yourself to the clerk making the sale. The clerk will find you in the customer list and apply the offer.
6. Complete your purchase and collect your offer. It’s that easy.

The redeemed offer appears on your receipt and your new points total appears in the Clover app.

Want to pay automatically next time? When you’re at a business and you see  Set up Autopay in your Clover app, it means you can Pay Automatically using the Clover app with Autopay. Then you can pick up your purchases, pay automatically, and be good to go even sooner.
