Clover for Healthcare

Clover offers the ‘Clover For Healthcare’ SaaS plan for new merchants,
designating them as HIPAA Compliant. This plan costs $4.95 per month. 

The Healthcare software plan enables a solution for eligible Clover merchants that removes the collection of PHI* (Protected Health Information) data. App availability and functionality in this software plan have been reduced to payment and employee management features only, eliminating Inventory,
Customers, Rewards, Feedback and Promos.

Any merchant boarded with the following MCC code's will automatically be put on this plan and will not be able to switch to any other plans:

If you have a prospective merchant that falls under one of these MCC's that needs one of the features not allowed under the Healthcare plan, and also has to accept HSA cards, you will have to put them under one of two MCC codes:

5122 -- Drugs, Drug Proprietary's and Sundries

7277 – Debt, Marriage, Personal-Counseling Service (Dependent on Plan Administrator)
