Clover Online Ordering with DoorDash

How does it work?

Customers will be able to place orders for delivery from your Clover online menu. DoorDash will check if the delivery address is within the accepted range which is ~3 miles for urban areas and ~5 miles for rural areas.

Will the restaurant be listed on DoorDash?

No. Enabling this feature won’t create any additional listings of your menu. All delivery orders will still be placed on your existing Clover online ordering website and app. DoorDash will only be involved to send drivers to complete the delivery from your business to your customers.

How much does it cost?

DoorDash will charge a delivery fee of $6.99 for every order. These fees, including tips your customers designated for the drivers, are compiled in a monthly invoice from DoorDash.

Clover will charge a dispatch fee of $1.00 per order (waived until 02/2022).

Keep in Mind

Merchants will be able to charge a delivery fee of whatever they want, if they want to pass the fee to the customer, they can charge a delivery fee of $6.99

Unless they want otherwise, they would not have to have a subscription with DoorDash. DoorDash monthly pricing tiers starting at 15% commission of all delivery sales.

Merchants can set a delivery minimum, as well as set a price if a customer spends that set amount, the delivery fee would drop off.
