Accounting Sync is a feature that enables the automatic sharing of merchants sales data with Quickbooks Online.
Set Up Accounting Sync
- From a browser, log in to your Clover account.
- Select Account & Setup.
- Under Business Operations, select Accounting Sync.
- Click Connect to Quickbooks Online.
- Use your Quickbooks Online login data to connect to your Quickbooks account.
- Once connected, you will be directed to a Sync settings page.
- Set the parameters including Sales, Tax Rates, Fees, Sync Schedule and so forth to match your Clover data with Quickbooks.
Manage Accounting Sync
- From a browser, log in to your Clover account.
- Select Account & Setup.
- Under Business Operations, select Accounting Sync.
- At the top right of the page, details of your last sync and next sync are visible.
- On any of the pages, you may disable sync using the toggle at the top right of the page without deleting your connection in case you wish to pause sync events.
- Use Sales to edit the parameters including Sales, Tax Rates, Fees, Sync Schedule and so forth to match your Clover data with Quickbooks.
- Use Tender types to manage the payment methods to match with Quickbooks.
- Use Sync schedule to manage the schedule and frequency of your data sync.
- Use Connection to Delete Connection and cancel your sync. This cannot be undone.
- Under Connection, use Sync history to view previous sync events and look for any errors in case your data was not synced with Quickbooks.
