Clover will input the menu in for your merchant, as long as you send a pdf version of the menu in with the application.
Best practices...
- Make sure the menu is legible and complete
- Clearly indicate how the menu should be organized (what will the categories be, vs. items, vs. modifiers)?
- Include all pricing
- Include things like relevant temperature options, spice levels or egg prep options where applicable
- Be sure to list all available sauces, dressings, toppings and options
- Note size options or “upcharges”
- Provide possible substitutions
- Remember not to use the same item name more than once, e.g., in multiple categories
Your menu build will be delayed or denied if…
- If the menu is handwritten, blurry, cut off or otherwise illegible
- Categories, Items, Modifiers and Prices are not provided or are unclear
- The menu is submitted in languages other than English & Spanish
- You do not respond to requests for clarifications
If the menu is not correct…
- See if you can help edit with the merchant in the web dashboard
- Clover Support an help with simple modifications, and can show the merchant how to make changes
- If you need the menu completely redone, escalations must come through Clover Support
